Faydra Koenig is known for her bold approach to crisis management. Her no-nonsense style is practical and solves problems.
I am Lauren Herrera, Host of Love Is A Verb, and let me just say it, literally, one of Faydra’s biggest fans. She is a badass and as you will hear in this episode, we bonded when she was looking for guests and my story was…how shall we say it…Bat Shit Crazy!
Listen to my story here:
Since then, we have been as inseparable as two people who live hundreds of miles apart from one another can be. God bless Skype and the makers of the cell phone.
So, being the Bestie that I am, I wanted to help her this week because her daughter is getting married.
I commandeered Coming out of the Fire and I am sharing my impressions of Faydra, her coaching, and hosting her recording when she was on The Impact Hour with John and Rena Bonesio.
What I loved about her interview was listening to her as a guest instead of a host. As a host, she is caring, clever and puts her guest front and center, as a guest you get to fully understand how good she is at what she does- Bold Crisis Management.
In this episode, Faydra is asked some tough questions about her husband-
How does she know he was wrongfully convicted? Why does she stay married to him? What are the hopes for their future?
Faydra also speaks about being the California Field Organizer for Prop 62, the California ballot measure to abolish the death penalty. The past two months she has traveled the entire state with over 20 exonerated death row inmates who were set free, after decades, for crimes they did not commit.
This interview was so much fun and I loved being able to share a side of Faydra you haven’t heard of. If you love the show, let me know!
